PROSEL is now at its 30th year of providing quality and affordable medicines at reasonable terms to the Filipinos. Its humble beginnings started in 1983 in Cebu City, by a young and dynamic couple who had eight (8) years experience in various transnational pharmaceutical companies, as Metropharm, promoting and selling vaccines by SmithKline and French. In 1986, Prosel was registered as a single proprietor entity expanding its business operations by engaging in selling pharmaceutical products imported and manufactured by Lopharm and Myrex Ethica respectively. Eventually, Prosel acquired a corporation status with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 1988.

From a single distributorship, PROSEL is now the proud owner of 52 Branded products by virtue of Drug Registration issued by the Bureau of Food and Drugs (FDA) duly manufactured by ISO-accredited Lloyd Laboratories, Inc. With the demand for its various products nationwide, management decided to open its Manila operations in 1994 with Heltker A.G. Corporation as the Marketing arm. What started off with a work force of 4 in Cebu, Prosel is currently operating nationwide through its in-house Medical Representatives, Business Associates and Distributors, with a combined administrative and sales force of over 300. It has branched out to three companies to handle its extensive range of products - Prosel Pharma Inc., Heltker A.G.and Korn C Philippines.
