Each Film-coated tablet contains:
Metoprolol Tartrate ... 50 mg for Neox 50 and 100 mg for Neox 100
Metoprolol is used in the management of hypertension, angina pectoris, cardiac arrythmias and myocardial infarction. It is also used in the management of hyperthyroidism and migraine.
For Angina Pectoris:
50 mg Tablet: 1 to 2 tablets 2 or 3 times daily or as prescribed by the physician.
For Cardiac Arrythmias:
50 mg Tablet: 1 tablet to be taken 2 or 3 times daily , increase if necessary to 6 tablets in divided doses or as prescribed by the physician.
Metoprolol should not be given to patients with bronchospasm or asthma or to those with history of obstructive airways disease.
